Repair Tissue With Amniotic Fluid

What is Amniotic Fluid?

Amniotic Fluid is taken from donated placentas of young healthy women after a cesarean section.  This substance is reconstituted in the doctor's office and then injected into the injured tissue.  The most common sites injected are arthritic knee joints, plantar fascia, and torn Achilles tendons.  However, the fluid can be administered to any tendon, ligament, or cartilage that has been injured or degenerated as a result of age or overuse.  Amniotic Fluid is very rich in growth factors which stimulate the body's natural healing mechanisms.  Like other regenerative medicine procedures, it is not covered by insurance.  Watch the following video for more information.  https://mimedx.app.box.com/s/vwta09pyq1ncaby9htpbp1ywzpdai5oh.  Or, download a brochure.   http://getbacktogo.com.
